Internet Licensing of digital creative works

Last Monday, January 14, a non-stock, non-profit global movement of prestigious organizations and stakeholders, launched Creative Common Philippines or CC-PH License Version 0.3.

CC provides free tools that let authors, scientists, artists, and educators easily mark their creative works with the freedom they want it to carry. CC can be used to chang copyright terms from "All Rights Reserved" to " Some Rights Reserved".

Works that can be covered by a CC license are books, websites, blogs, photographs, films, videos, and other audio and visual recordings.

Pinoynetizens may now avail of the CC-PH license by visiting www.creative_commons.org or www.philippine_commons.org.
